​September 2012:
I raised over $1,700 for Double R Horse Rescue for my 10th Birthday Wish. In addition to the monetary donations, I was able to secure them over $30,000 in HAY through use of Social Media! Folks from Texas helped make a BIG difference for the horses at Double R! Thank you to everyone that donated! Now Double R is able to take on additional horses thanks to all of your donations!


July 2012:
July 17, 2012 was my 10th Birthday. I decided to do something very special for my birthday! It is VERY dry here in Nebraska and people are very concerned with how they will hay their livestock this winter and this winter we could get LOTS of snow. I decided to try to raise some money for Double R Horse Rescue (Riverdale, NE) (501c3 Non-Profit) and purchase some hay for them to feed their horses. Since I turn 10 years old, I am asking for $10 donations for hay. $10 buys at least 1.5 bales of hay. That's enough for one horse for almost a week....Just two days after I started my fundraiser, something HORRIBLE happened! 90 horses were found by the Nebraska Humane Society in horrible shape just a few miles from our home. Some were dead, some were so thin that they will likely not make it and some were LEFT THERE! WHY? Because there aren't enough foster/adoptive homes for all of them! Double R Horse Rescue would like to take some of these horses, but can't until they have enough hay to feed the horses that they currently have or until they adopt out some of the horses that they have to make room for the new ones!!!! I would REALLY appreciate your help! Your donation would help SO many horses!
